Scholarships Quick Shots and Big Fish
The great news about scholarships is that there are a lot of them out there. Check out this great Time magazine article for lists of scholarships broken down by a variety of criteria, and donââ¬â¢t forget to talk to your high school counselor about scholarships at your school. Below, weââ¬â¢ll highlight scholarships with easy processes or big payouts. Quick Shots The Niche ââ¬Å"No-Essayâ⬠Scholarship is true to its name! Just enter the monthly drawing for this $2,000 scholarship. The American Fire Safety Association asks you to read about a fire safety topic and answer a quick quiz. Ten $2000 winners are selected randomly from correct quizzes. Entries are accepted up to April 1, 2019. The US Bank Student Union Scholarship is a random draw that allows you to earn up to eight additional entries by completing modules on financial literacy ââ¬â a win-win, especially with a top award of $20,000. Get your entries in by October 26th. Big Fish NBA star Derrick Roseââ¬â¢s Rose Scholars program offers up to $200,000 in college funding. Thereââ¬â¢s still time to make the September 30 deadline. Dreamers can apply for The Dream.US Scholarships. Apply by March 18; winners receive up to 100% of their tuition and Books costs. If youââ¬â¢ve completed an impressive project in areas ranging from math to engineering to music to philosophy, consider applying for a Davidson Fellows Scholarship . Youââ¬â¢ll have until February of 2019 to apply for the $10,000 $50,000 awards. The Gates Scholarship deadline for 2018 is September 18, but if youââ¬â¢re a rising junior, consider this highly competitive scholarship for minority students. And donââ¬â¢t forget corporate scholarships! Coca-Cola, Dr. Pepper, Taco Bell, Dell, GE, Tylenol, AXA, Chevron, Google, and Burger King all offer substantial scholarships.
